My End of Year Ritual & How I Wrap Up My Year... As 2023 approaches, I feel a tug, a desire, to reflect back on the past year. To say this year was intense and full of change for me would be a massive understatement. Some years are just like that—so full that it seems like January was years ago, not just months.
For those of you who know me, have taken classes with me or have had a 1:1 session, you’ll have noticed that I like to ponder things. My definition of pondering is where a thought drops in that causes me to pause—a thought that catches my attention. And then I will make space for that thought or concept to unfold organically—with a lot of help from Spirit, usually. The most recent concept to catch my attention: What are miracles?
It’s interesting, so many people want to know what their future holds during a reading, but I think the most powerful thing you can do is to understand your past. Have you ever had a moment in life where someone tried to put a narrative on you—tried to tell you what your story was going to be if you didn’t do X, Y, or Z?
Have you seen the photo challenge going around on social media? Apparently you post a picture of yourself from 10 years ago to compare to what you look like now. Finding a decade old picture sounded like work to me. But it did get me thinking about the last 10 years. If you had told me 10 years ago, I’d have my own practice as a psychic medium, I wouldn’t have believed you. In fact, I don’t think 10 years ago I would have considered myself a psychic medium–an intuitive, yes; psychic medium, no.
