I Almost Cancelled the Podcast Interview (I'm Glad I Didn't)

I was tucked into a small alcove on the top floor of my in-laws house in North Carolina. It was July and I was sweating like you wouldn’t believe.
I had just connected my computer to the Wi-Fi and was wondering what I had been thinking to have scheduled a podcast guest interview with two strangers in the middle of our biggest lifequake to date.
After two days in an RV with four cats, a large dog and a 13 year old girl (with our entire trip still ahead of us), there was a pretty good chance I had overestimated my ability to form words.
Here I was about to hop on a podcast called, Grounded Magic, and nothing about that moment felt magical. Not the sweat, not the alcove, not the twenty more days of RV life ahead of me.
And then two strangers popped up on the screen, faces beaming and what followed was exactly what Sabrina, April and I all needed in that moment.
P.S. I recorded this episode from an attic in the middle of one of our biggest lifequakes. What came out of it surprised even me. Listen here.
