Your Deck Wants to Talk
Stop asking your cards for answers.
Start having a conversation.
You sit down with your cards.
And before you even shuffle, you're already trying to figure out the "right" question to ask.
The problem is you've asked the same question so many times it barely means anything anymore, but you don't know what else to ask, so…
You ask the same question again and cross your fingers hoping it will work this time. (Spoiler Alert: It doesn’t.)
The reading comes back muddy and vague and absolutely doesn’t give you the answers you needed.
You immediately assume it’s a you problem and shove the deck back into the box. Clearly you shuffled wrong, didn’t figure out the meaning, or weren’t intuitive enough.
But, you have had readings that have felt so accurate it’s scary.
So, you know the cards work. It’s just that lately, you readings feel more meh than ah-ha! And you can’t figure out why.

I get it.
Not getting your deck to work the way you hoped it would is mind numbingly frustrating. And it ends in two ways:
You crying over cards that don’t make sense.
Or a deck that ends up covered in dust, unused, just another thing that didn’t work out.
But it doesn’t have to be this way.
There’s something very simple at the root of it – and no it’s not that you’re not doing the whole card thing wrong.
You’ve just never learned that the most important thing about cards:
The question you ask changes the answer you get.
Everybody thinks it’s the card you pull, the spread you use, or how strong your intuition is. But, none of these affect your readings as much as what question you ask.
A different way
Most tarot classes teach people to treat their cards like a vending machine. Put in a question, get an answer spit out in return.
And it when it doesn’t work out, we go down the rabbit hole, hunting for the solution – the perfect deck, the perfect question, the perfect layout – until our eyes are crossed and we’re so confused we can’t even draw a card without second guessing ourselves.
But, there's a different way in that lets you bypass that spiral.
Instead of asking your deck a question, you have a conversation with it.
You give your deck something to work with.
And when you do, your deck stops being a mirror, just handing you back what you already know and it becomes something more.
That's what this workshop teaches: How to stop asking and start talking.
Here's what you'll walk away with
This isn't a full framework or a new system to memorize. It's a simple, practical shift that you can bring into your very next next reading.
By the end of our hour together, you'll:
✦ Know exactly what to say to your deck, even when you don't have anything specific in mind.
✦ Stop hunting for the "perfect" question (it doesn’t exist) and finally ditch pressure of getting it wrong.
✦ Get a more useful answer from any card because you gave your deck more to work with.
✦ Experience the shift live, in the room by pulling your own card and feeling the difference between waiting for an answer and being in a conversation.

What to bring: Your deck (tarot or oracle, whatever you've got), a notebook or paper, and something to write with.
Can't make it live? The replay will be available through Sunday night, but you'll get the most out of this if you can join live and do the work in real time.

Hi, I'm Jessica Paschke.
For more than a decade, I've taught hundreds of tarot students through courses like Through the Looking Glass, Tarot in Real Life, and Tarot for Uncertain Times. My work treats tarot as a vehicle for real life change, not a mystical answer machine.
I created this workshop because I've seen so many brilliant and intuitive people have readings go sideways before a single card is even drawn – just by asking the wrong question.
This workshop fixes that. It gives you one practical, easy shift you can immediately put to work in your very next reading.

FAQ's
Nope! This works whether you've been reading cards for years or you're still getting to know your deck.
Oracle or tarot both work. Bring whatever deck you feel comfortable with.
This isn't an hours long lecture. We’re going to be You'll be doing the work in real time, right alongside everyone else in the room.
Here's roughly how it goes:
✦ We start with where you're at. No judgment, no right answer — just an honest check-in on your relationship with your deck right now.
✦ You pull a card the way you normally would. Same question you'd normally ask, same instinct. We'll come back to this one.
✦ We break down why readings go sideways — and it's almost never the reason you think.
✦ You learn the shift: how to trade a question for a conversation, and what that actually sounds like when you sit down with your deck.
✦ You try it live. Same deck, new approach — and you'll feel the difference between the card you pulled at the start and the one you pull now.
✦ We close with what to carry forward — one small way to bring this into your very next reading, starting today.
Register and you'll get the replay, available through Sunday night after the workshop.
No. This hour is a complete workshop on its own. You'll walk away with a shift you can use in your very next reading. At the very end, I'll mention what else is available if you want to go deeper, but that's a small piece at the close, not the point of the hour.
This workshop stands completely on its own. It happens to be a small first taste of a bigger practice I teach elsewhere, but you don't need to know anything about that to get real value out of this hour.
